Down the Street from my Studio at Salmon Falls Artist Mills, in Rollinsford, NH is a farm with a whole field of these cows. Every once in a while I'll ride by a catch them by the side of the road where I can get some great photos to paint from, if the weather is not conducive to plein air painting. I love the expression! Also, I'm having a lot of fun painting these minis in addition to my larger works.
